10 Things for 2010

I am not a fan of New Years Resolutions. It seems to me, that these "promises" just end up setting a person up for failure or at least a big headache. Therefore, I am not making a resolution this year. Instead, I am making a list of 10 things I would like to try (really, really hard) to accomplish in 2010. In no particular order, drum roll please...

1. Join a church in Greenville and take the kids to Sunday School
2. Complete at least one sewing project each month
3. Get a JOB!! (maybe this should be #1...)
4. Practice more patience (ha, ha, ha...)
5. Keep a cleaner house
6. Learn to smock and use these skills to make the kids' Christmas outfits
7. Fit back into my size 4 jeans/Be swimsuit ready before we hit the beach this summer
8. Become a crazy coupon lady (you laugh now, but wait till I'm saving the big bucks)
9. Relish my time at home with my children.
10. Become a better wife, mother, and follower of the Lord

So, there you have it. My 10 goals for 2010. I will keep you posted on how these things are working out.

BTW: Chad's NY Resolution is to run at least 1 mile each day for 365 consecutive days. We'll see...

PLEASE let me make copies of any patterns you want! DO NOT buy them...they are too expensive! We can spend an afternoon tracing on tracing paper and it'll last you for forever! Spend your money on the fabric :)
I can totally teach you to smock. You will pick it up in a heartbeat--it is so much easier than it looks. If you can crossstich (which I know you can) you will have NO issues with it.
I can also help you out with the church thing too! We go to First Presbyterian of Greenville downtown and love it!
Great "things" by the way...totally attainable! I am impressed with Chad's resolution. That is NOT attainable in my book!
