Let's play a game...shall we?
The scene: Our house
Time: Post-nap
The crime: One whopping big, white mess
Whodunnit?
A white handprint...under the stair rail...
White smudges going up the stairs...
Nah! While the same white stuff was in his hair, his hands were clean.
Besides, last time I checked, he can't walk yet.
I was about to give up when I turned the corner and found this:
And white footed...
What could cause such a ruckus?
Desitin!!
Do you have any clue how difficult that stuff is to get out of hair...and carpet...and bedding?
Not to mention cleaning the walls, the stairs, the doorknobs, the crib, and a squirmy wormy two-year-old!
Stuff like this happens on a weekly basis around here.
Why am I not pulling my hair out, you ask?
Because stuff like this is what makes ordinary days a little extraordinary.
These early years certainly don't last forever.
And, I am cherishing every moment I get to spend at home cleaning up their messes.
I thank the Lord everyday for making me their Mommy!
I wouldn't want it any other way.
