Easter weekend was full of reasons for celebration!
Not only did we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord, but we also celebrated at the wedding of one of Chad's childhood friends, Gordon.
The wedding was held at the chapel on Glassy Mountain.
If you ever get the opportunity to venture into this gated community, GO!
It was gorgeous!
(You might have heard of The Cliffs at Glassy. It's a famous golf course that Tiger has played on.)
The chapel was at the very tippy-top of the mountain, and it was an old stone church with glass walls...
The view from right outside the church...
The groom and my favorite groomsman...
Chad and I
(Did I mention I'm quasi-scared of heights?)
You can see this flag from the road right by our house.
It's huge and so beautiful....
I could bore you with the 2,000,000 picture we took of the view, but I'll spare you!
The reception was held at Furman (the bride's alma mater), and when you walked in this is what you saw...
There were two giant screens on either side of the reception hall so that everyone could watch the Final Four! How funny! Did I mention that the groom is a basketball coach?
Anyways, Jack was having major issues with taking bottles at the time, so we picked him up on the way to the reception (You know, so he wouldn't starve to death...).
We had so much fun with him!
Hanging out with Daddy and Mommy....
Hanging out with Mr. Aaron and Ms. Shannon...
Breaking it down with Mr. Gordon on the dance floor...
So sad this picture turned out blurry, it was my favorite!...
We had such a great time celebrating with so many special friends!
While Chad and I realize the "marathon" of weddings is slowly coming to an end, we are thankful that so many of our friends have found the same true love and happiness that we share.
Congratulations Gordon and Mandy!
May the honeymoon never end!
