SB2K10

{That's Spring Break 2010...for all you amateurs! :o) }

NGU's Spring Break was last week, so we got Daddy all to ourselves!  This doesn't happen often, so we get very excited about his time off.  We always like to make the best of it with family outings, trips, and lots of food and fun.

We kicked off the festivities by attending a birthday party for Gracie's sweet friend Hattie.
Hattie turned 5, and she had a rock and roll Hannah Montannah party complete with cupcake decorating, freeze dance, and a talent show.

Gracie had a blast dancing with Luke...

And rocking out on Hannah Montana's guitar...

I totally did not get a picture of Jack's rock and roll fauxhawk that we created with a bit of hairgel.  It was awesome!
After the party we headed to Columbia to attend a baby shower for our good friends David and Rachel.  Sadly, I did not take any pictures while I was there, but we had a blast and can't wait to meet Mr. Walker David Long in May :o)

Later in the week we ventured out to the playground to enjoy the nice weather.
Chad doesn't get to do this with us often, and Gracie and Jack loved having him there.

Gracie loved the BIG slide...

And having LOTS of big open space to run around in...

Sweet moments with Mommy...
Swinging like Tarzan (or I guess she would be Jane)...

Mastering the rock wall...

This booger had fun too...
Showing us her teeth...

Her first solo ride on a "big girl" swing....

We finally persuaded her to leave by promising more sliding at Chick-fil-a after dinner :o)
Not only did she slide, she made a four-year-old cry when she pushed her down...Nice.

Wednesday we attended Bible study and, since she was such a good girl, got treated to Chuck E. Cheese.

Thursday we went to storytime, visited with Mimi, went out to lunch, and got a haircut :o)

All-in-all a really fun week!
Yesterday was a little lonely without Daddy around, but we're so glad he works hard for us!
We love you!!!

I also had to add this picture.
This is how I found my boys on the couch the other night...they are sleeping in the
exact same position!!!
How cute is that???

That last picture is the cutest thing ever! And I love Gracie's haircut. She gets more haircuts than any two year old I've ever heard of! :) Glad yall had a great Spring Break and I can't wait to see you this weekend!

Haha!! Just saw the comment on my previous post. :) I neglected to mention the fact that James is Watson's INTOWN best friend. Jack is, of course, his OUT OF TOWN best friend. Don't want any hurt feelings! :)
