This morning I ventured into downtown Greenville for my 39 week, 2 day doctor's appointment. I was really hoping for some progression: specifically the kind that predicted I would be in labor within the next couple of days. Nothing! That's right, absolutely nothing! At this point with Gracie I was 2.5 cm dialated and 70% effaced. I am now 50% effaced, and that's it! What a let down....
I have an appointment scheduled for next Wednesday (which is officially 2 days past my due date), and, if nothing has happened, we will schedule an induction. Chad's prediction might be right after all: November 8.
There is a full moon on Monday (the 2nd, also my due date), so we'll see what happens! Don't worry, I will keep you posted!

Maybe the baby will come one day sooner than Chad predicts and have the same birthday as me!!! Hold tight... That baby will be here before you know it. Cherish your time with Miss Gracie while she's your one and only. Can't wait to meet #2! love you!

Bummer...I have a feeling that I'm going to be late, too. I go back on Monday for my 38 week appt. to see if there's any progress. I hope your baby comes soon!! Can't wait to hear!
Ahh how exciting!! Can't wait! We will be there this weekend- so maybe just maybe he/she will make a quick arrival.
