Playdate!

One week ago, our good friends Amy and Emory made the long trek to Tigerville for a playdate. :o) While the playdate seemed WAY too short, we were so incredibly happy to have them come visit! They arrived in time to play before lunch, but the girls didn't really take to one another at first...they were both in a "mood." We had a gourmet lunch (pizza, noodles, and strawberries), and the girls went down for naps. Amy and I had some much needed pregnant-mother-of-toddler chat time! Yay! When the girls woke up, they were much more cheerful and willing to spend some quality time with each other. Here are some great pictures that Amy took to commemorate our fun day.

After lunch, naps, and playtime, we headed to Fatz for a quick dinner before the Duprees had to head back home. The girls finally warmed up to each other once we got there. I wish Gracie would smile on command like Emory :o)

After dinner the girls tried out the kid-size bench outside.

Thank you Amy and Emory for making the looong trip up here for the day! It was so much fun spending time with the two of you. We wish it could happen more often!
