The SC State Fair

I know I haven't posted in a (long) while. I am going to take you way back to mid-October. While we were "living it up" in NYC, Mom and Dad had the privilege of keeping Gracie Lou. On Friday, October 17, Mom and Alicia took her to the South Carolina State Fair. They rode the carousel (which G didn't like), pet the animals (G only liked the bull), and became t.v. stars (thank you, Joe Pinner). Here are a few pictures chronicling their adventures.

Gracie's first fair ride, the Merry-Go-Round.

She thought it was scary and rode the rest of the time while Grammy held her.

This was her expression after the ride. Are we having fun yet?

OK, seriously. Are we having fun yet?

This is more like it. My daughter, the television star! Joe Pinner (aka Mr. Knozit) said she was precious and asked her to join him on the morning weather report. Mom said she was very attentive and tried to eat the microphone when he put it up to her mouth :o)

Next, it was on to the petting zoo. Here she is looking at the ducks.

Petting the goats.

Taking the bull by the horns. (haha)

This is my favorite picture of all! Snuggling up to Grammy.

Washing hands afterwards. Mommy, the germaphobe, was very excited to see this picture!

They went to visit Grammy's quilts. She won a blue ribbon for the black, white, and red geometric quilt! We are so proud of her! She also entered the one to the right with the state flag in the middle.

Taking a snack break.

A goldfishy smile :o)

Pushing her stroller home. Thank you Grammy and Ms. Alicia for a great day!

Yikes, Mr. Knozit is looking old! Gracie, on the other hand, is looking as cute as ever!
