Official Due Date!

Good Question!
Today is Baby #2's official due date, and there is no sign of "Merv" anywhere. I had a bunch of contractions this weekend, but nothing that stuck. On Saturday night I was convinced that I would be having the baby yesterday, but, thankfully, Gracie does not have to share her birthday! In the meantime, G and I are keeping busy around the house.
Can you guess what we've been doing?
The lucky girl has been receiving all kinds of birthday packages in the mail, including a giant tub of sidewalk chalk as part of her gift from Stef, Will, Ally, and Chris. She wanted to use it immediately upon opening, but it was raining that day. Today is gorgeous, so we decided to break it out.
She started off just coloring on the sidewalk, but she eventually got bored with that and decided to venture into the yard with her chalk.

Once she realized she could draw on the rocks, she was thrilled. She moved from rock to rock (and there are quite a few in the front yard) marking her "territory."

We had a blast playing outside in the sun and even made some new friends across the street.
All in all, a great morning!
I had to include a picture of our side yard...look at all the leaves on the ground! This is such a change from the pineneedles in Columbia! It's hard to believe that the trees are almost bare, and it's only the 2nd of November. I love living in the Upstate-Fall is so beautiful!

I know you're ready! You go back tomorrow? I went today! No dilation, but 60% effaced and she has dropped. I had a feeling she had dropped because I was feeling movement really low. I can't wait to hear what you're having! Keep us posted!

Awww...I know you must be soooo ready for baby to make an appearance! I hope it will be soon for you! It's funny, the comment you made on my blog about my parents...I was thinking the same about yours, they are just as I remember them!
